NPFL All-Stars made Nigeria proud – Mustapha

By Daily Sports on August 12, 2016

Wikki Tourist captain, Ibrahim Mustapha believes the NPFL All-star gave a good account of themselves against Valencia.

A late winner ensured that the hosts  secured a 2-1 win in a friendly played at the Mestalla Stadium.

Ibrahim, whose club teammate Godwin Obaje started in the match believes that the stars from the Nigeria apex league represented the country well.

"To  NPFL All-star team gave a very good account of themselves on Wednesday night's 2-1 defeat to Valencia CF," Mustapha said.

"They grew confidence as the match progressed and never looked back. Though if they had more time to blend they team play would have been excellent but in all they made Nigeria proud same as the NPFL. At least Spain saw the stars of NPFL play right on their home soil.

"Going forward the NPFL All-star would gained more understanding and don't be surprised if they win their next match."
