Opobo Traditional Rulers Visit Mbata, Ohanaeze Ndigbo President-General

As part of rebuilding brotherhood and lineage relationship, the Opobo Council of Traditional Rulers has paid a courtesy visit to the President-General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, Senator John Azuta-Mbata, at his residence in Port Harcourt.

The delegation, led by its Chairman, Alabo Eddie Cockeye Brown, expressed their unwavering support for his leadership. They commended him for his role in uniting Ndígbo and assured him that the Igbo community in Rivers State and beyond stands firmly behind him.

The council pledged their continued support to ensure a successful tenure for Senator Azuta-Mbata as he leads Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide.

Business H lights recalls that the ancestral father of Opobo Kingdom, the Jaja of Opobo was a an Igboman slaved from Amaigbo Community in Nwangele LGA of Imo State which certifies the Opobo community as true Igbo people.

The current governor of Rivers State, Sin Fubara is an Opobo man
