Nigeria Olympic Committee (NOC) in collaboration with Sport For All Commission under the auspices of the International Olympic Committee Seminar for Fitness Trainers has been scheduled for Abuja from Sept. 18 to 19, 2024.
This seminar is organised for the State Sport Councils as a follow-up to the previous one held in 2017 for all State Directors of Sports.
A statement signed by Tony Nezianya, the Public Relations Officer of NOC, said the Committee will provide accommodation and meals for one participant from each State Sport Council.
Other fitness clubs are also welcome to attend the seminar, but they will need to cover their own transportation, accommodation, and meals throughout the duration of the event.
The Chairman of NOC Sport For All Commission, Dr. Abdul Ibrahim encourage all State Sport Councils to take advantage of this opportunity and nominate a qualified staff member to attend the seminar.
This event promises to be of tremendous benefit to the participants and their respective State Sports Councils or Commissions.
Certificates will be issued to all participants at the seminar. The venue for the event is the Association of National Olympic Committees of Africa (ANOCA) Secretariat in Jahi Area of Abuja.
The participants are expected to arrive in Abuja on Sept. 17 and depart on September 20.
The specific hotel information will be provided in due course.
This is a valuable chance for everyone in the fitness profession, and we invite you to contact us for any further information or clarification.
