The 2024 JOF U-13 Cup Championship kicked off last weekend, and it will be played this year at three different centres spread across the metropolitan Lagos State.
This year's edition of the grassroots football tournament, the fifth in the series, attracted no fewer than 64 teams who paraded mostly youngsters currently in schools.
The competition has been solely sponsored by JOF Nigeria Limited, a manufacturing company and supply chain service provider based in Lagos.
According to a release made available to the media on Tuesday, matches are being played at the Union Bank playground in Surulere, Jalisco playground in Oshodi, and Lekki playground in Eti-Osa
The opening match of the 2024 edition decided on Sunday saw Unity FC of Ilupeju beating Sandro FC of Mile 2 in a pulsating encounter that ended 4-3. The match was played at the Union Bank pitch in Surulere.
