Super Eagles and Bayer Leverkusen forward, Victor Boniface, is in the running for the UEFA Europa League Goal of the Week.
The 22-year-old struck a spectacular goal Thursday night at the BayArena in a match against the Czech club Qarabag.
Boniface received a pass from Florian Writz just outside the box and swiftly slotted the ball into the top corner.
Boniface was the joint top scorer in the competition last season.
Boniface has now scored two goals and provided one assist in three appearances in the Europa League this season.
The Nigerian international was nominated alongside Lucas Paquetá, Edoardo Bove and Magnus Wolff.
