Rangers management to partner supporters club members for mutual benefit

The Rangers International Football Club of Enugu management has assured purposeful partnership for mutual benefits with its supporters club members.
The Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of Rangers International F.C, Amobi Ezeaku dropped the hint recently when the national executive of the supporters’ club led by the national chairman, Dr. Iloakazi Uchenna and other stakeholders paid him a courtesy visit at the club corporate head office, Enugu.
He assured them that the club management under him recognized their efforts and the supports so far to boost the ‘Flying Antelopes’ performance both within and outside the country.
Reacting to the presentation of the national chairman, Ezeaku thanked the club supporters for their diligence and support to the team in good and trying times while challenging them to rise up to the reason they were set up.
He said: “Supporters club are recognized by the world football ruling body, FIFA, and I am very happy with all you have been doing to throw your weights behind the team every time we are playing a game. 
"However, I challenge you to find a way to become self-sustaining and achieve much for yourselves as a group; we promise to have a mutually benefitting partnership that we all shall be proud of when it’s time for stock taking.”
Earlier, the national chairman of Rangers Supporters Club, Dr. Iloakazi congratulated the new G.M/CEO of Rangers on his successful completion of studies to earn a UEFA and FIFA certificates in football club management and subsequent appointment by Enugu state government.
He described the young football administrator as a square peg in a square hole.
“We came to welcome you back from your studies and congratulate you on your new appointment and also to assure you that the supporters club would throw its weight behind your regime for us to achieve together," Iloakazi said.
On the entourage were two former national chairmen; Barr. Chika Nzelu and Achinike Daniel as well as Okereke Amobi, Oledika Mike, Livinus Eleje, Emeka Ugwu and Eneh Romanus.
