Don’t write 3SC off – Osawe

By Daily Sports on July 21, 2016

Shooting Stars defender Alaba Osawe is confident that the Oluyole Warriors have the will and the fight to pull clear from the tight relegation battle.

The Ibadan side are in the mix for the drop despite picking 13 points in their last six Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) games.

"It was a disappointment after how hard we worked in the game,'' Osawe told Goal.

''There is no point writing off Shooting Stars for we belong to the league of big boys. We will escape the drop by the grace of God,'' he assured.

"We believe in our ability. If we keep playing well, I am sure we will be fine."

''Niger Tornadoes are in big trouble. We want three points and that will be our target when we face them.''

Shooting Stars are at home to Niger Tornadoes in the match day 28 of the NPFL on Sunday.
