Enyimba Stadium Getting Facelift Ahead of 2023-2024 Football Season

By Daily Sports Nigeria on August 5, 2023

Ahead of the 2023-2024 football season, the Enyimba stadium is getting a facelift, for aesthetics, comfort of fans and dignitaries and for live TV broadcast.

On Friday morning, an Igulafrica.com correspondent was at the stadium to see the club’s preparation for the coming season which will see them play in the NPFL, the Federation Cup, the CAF Champions League and the African Football League.

From the gate, the club’s new stadium manager was seen directing affairs as cleanup activities were in full gear. Workers were on ground to give the stadium environment a befitting look, worthy for visitors.

Repainting work is also being done in various parts of the stadium, including the press conference room and surrounding areas.

The stadium is among those picked by Propel Sports as venue to install the AI cameras for live streaming of NPFL games this coming season and the facelift helps to suit the desired aesthetics.

The team will play their first home game of the season on the last week of August against Ahli Benghazi in the CAF Champions League.
