Three Nigeria Premier League clubs jostle for Itodo

Experienced goalkeeper Itodo Akor has been approached by three Nigeria Premier League clubs.

The Gombe United goalie had an outstanding campaign last season, as his impressive performance helped the Savannah Scorpions finish in mid-table.

Newly promoted side, Katsina United, Shooting Stars and Lobi Stars are reported to have shown concrete interest in the shot-stopper.

According to a source from the player’s camp, Lobi Stars have opened talks with Itodo.

DAILY POST also gathered that Katsina United are ready to match the Pride of Benues’ offer.

The Gombe United captain recorded a personal best of six clean sheets last season.

Gombe United finished the season in seventh position with 19 points.
