Sporting defeated Smart City 4-0 to clinch the last slot for the NNL playoffs.
“Congratulations to Sporting Lagos for picking a ticket to the NNL playoffs. They gave a good fight for the ticket and I am happy that a Lagos-based team is among the playoffs teams and I know they will achieve success in the playoffs,” Adeyinka said.
“It will be a thing of joy to see a Lagos team back in the NPFL, that’s why we will continue to give Sporting Lagos all the necessary support they need to get a ticket to the apex league of Nigerian football.”
