Voice of Ariam Usaka Foundation has sent congratulatory message to the Governor elect of Abia State, Dr. Alex Otti on his well-deserved victory during the governorship election in the State held on March 18, 2023.
In a statement personally addressed to the Governor elect and made available to DSN and also signed by the National President, Donald Akaoha and National Secretary, Enyinnaya Ibeh, respectively vividly quoted thus: “Your Excellency, your convincing victory in the recently concluded gubernatorial election is worthy of commendation, adding that his candidature is a selective choice,” the statement further said.
According to the Foundation, this congratulatory message is to serve as their own token of steadfastness on the referendum Abia people passed to the Governor elect, Dr. Alex Otti to lead Abia State out of this long journey of wilderness embarked since 1999 democratic rule took its hold in the country, The statement posited.
The Foundation believes that with the administrative sharpness of Dr. Otti in the past, Abians are optimistic that he will bring such to bear as he is poised to tackle the rot in the State head-on which it said is the gospel of hope from Labour Party Presidential candidate, Peter Obi to Nigerians and pointed out that Abia State should count herself lucky to have chosen Dr. Alex Otti to lead the pack in God’s Own State.
Meanwhile, a Mass communicator, Sir Romanus Egbulefu emphatically said that the election of Dr Alex Otti as the next governor of the State would remain the best that has happened to the State since its creation.
Egbulefu noted further that with the body language of the Governor elect, has shown the direction the State would be heading towards and urge the entire citizens of the State to support him and his economic blue print that tilts towards bringing Abia State to the frontline she ought to have been if not for the constant misrule that befell the State these years. “It is hoped that the Almighty God will guide and direct you while discharging your duties as the Executive Governor of the State come May 29,” he restated.
Akaoha and Ibe insisted that on behalf of the entire members of Voice of Ariam Usaka Foundation, we once again say "more Grease to your elbow" as you mount this saddle of quality governance which Abians at home and in Diaspora earnestly expect.
