Saudi club offer Messi £320m per year to play against Ronaldo

By Daily Sports Nigeria on May 4, 2023

Paris Saint-Germain forward, Lionel Messi, is set for a £320million-a-year deal if he decides to leave Europe for Saudi Arabia this summer.

Messi is expected to leave the Ligue 1 champions when his current contract expires in June.

Although a lot of other clubs are monitoring his situation, the Saudi Pro League will offer him the most lucrative deal.

According to The Telegraph, Messi’s representatives have begun talks over a move to Saudi Arabia, with the government said to be involved in discussions.

One of the potential destinations for Messi is Al-Hilal, who are rivals of Ronaldo’s club Al-Nassr.

Al-Hilal were unable to move for Ronaldo due to a transfer ban which is set to expire at the end of this season.
