Super Eagles ‘ll give Djurtus respect they deserve – Osimhen

Super Eagles player Victor Osimhen has disclosed the Super Eagles do not underrate the Djurtus of Guinea-Bissau, ahead of Friday’s African Cup of Nations qualifying match.

The Napoli forward noted that the Super Eagles would give the Guinea-Bissau team the respect they deserve.

Osimhen also expressed confidence that Super Eagles is ready to defeat the Djurtus.

Super Eagles had defeated the Djurtus 3-0 the last time both teams met in a a group game at the 2021 AFCON in Cameroon.

The three-time African champions will entertain Baciro Cande’s side in a 2023 Africa Cup of Nations matchday three encounter at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja.

“We are looking forward to it and I’m happy to be back to the squad it is an amazing feeling and really expecting amazing result in the two legged game against Guinea-Bissau,

“We don’t underrate our opponent we want to give them the respect they deserve also as a team,” Osimhen told NFF TV.
