Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly not yet opened discussions with Harry Kane over a new contract.
The 29-year-old has again been in excellent form for Spurs during the 2022-23 campaign, scoring 17 goals in 26 appearances in all competitions.
Kane has 15 Premier League strikes to his name this term, including a double against Crystal Palace last week, while he hit the winner in his team’s 1-0 victory over Portsmouth in the third round of the FA Cup on Saturday.
The England captain has entered the final 18 months of his contract at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, though, and there is again speculation surfacing surrounding his future.
Manchester City pushed to sign Kane in the summer of 2021, but the Citizens were unsuccessful in their pursuit and then switched their attention to Erling Braut Haaland the following year.
