West Ham revive interest in Aina

By Daily Sports Nigeria on December 30, 2022

Premier League club, West Ham United, look set to revive their interest in Nigeria defender, Ola Aina, PUNCH Sports Extra reports.

The Super Eagles defender has six months left on his current Torino deal and has also attracted interest from Leeds United and Crystal Palace.

The 25-year-old was close to joining David Moyes’ side in the summer, but the Hammers failed with a late bid to land the Nigerian defender.

The former Fulham defender can play on both flanks and also in central defence. He can also play in midfield as well.

The reliable Hammers source told the Evening Standard that the defender is very keen on moving to the London Stadium and David Moyes rates him highly.

The Hammers had a bid rejected for Aina in the summer, which gives an indication that David Moyes rates him highly.

Aina has made 10 appearances for the Granata this season scoring a goal in the Serie A so far.
