Nigeria will take part in the African Zone two Boxing Championships will be staged in Dakar, Senegal, Sunday PUNCH reports.
Secretary-general of the Senegal Boxing Federation, Anta Gueye revealed this during a press conference held recently.
Gueye, who is also a member of Africa Boxing Confederation Board of Directors, said she expects a full house in the Dakar tournament to be held in March 2023.
The championship tournament will feature a 1-Star certification course for coaches, referees and judges will feature 15 countries from Zone two.
The countries are Benin, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Ivory Coast, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea Bissau, Guinea Conakry, Liberia, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone and Togo.
