Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen has been nominated for the Serie A player of the month for November.
Osimhen had a fantastic time at Napoli before the international break. The 23-year-old Nigerian hitman registered two goals and one assist in three games.
The Napoli forward conceded a penalty in Napoli’s first game of the month at Atalanta, but he quickly replied with a goal and an assist to see the Partenopeans through. Osimhen fired blanks against Empoli, but he returned to the scoresheet in their dramatic 3-2 win against Udinese.
His goals were helpful, as they ensured that Napoli would go into the World Cup break with a healthy eight-point gap at the summit of the Serie A.
Osimhen’s performances have not gone unnoticed, as he has been nominated for the Serie A player of the month.
His teammate, Piotr Zielinski also made the shortlist, alongside Moise Kean, Federico Dimarco, and Giacomo Bonaventura.
