Neymar Involves Self In Politics

By Daily Sports Nigeria on October 25, 2022

Neymar Jr. has found himself in the political conversation over the last few weeks after the Paris Saint-Germain star publicly announced his support for the current Brazilian president Jair Bolsonaro.

The PSG star didn’t vote for Bolsonaro since the 30-year-old reportedly forgot to transfer his elector title to Paris, as Neymar’s polling station is still located in São Paulo.

Additionally, Bolsonaro’s political opponent in the second round of presidential elections, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, commonly known as Lula, poked fun at the PSG star. He claims that the real reason Neymar supports Bolsonaro is due to taxes.

Despite this, Neymar has put himself into the political conversation, stating that he promised to dedicate his “first goal” to Bolsonaro at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in the event of re-election.

The PSG star plans to mimic the president’s signature finger gun celebration the first time he finds the back of the net while in Qatar. So if anyone is confused by Neymar’s possible celebration, this will explain it.
