Done Deal: Ujah Joins Eintracht Braunschweig On Permanent Transfer

Bundesliga 2 club, Eintracht Braunschweig have announced the signing of Nigeria forward, Anthony Ujah on a one-year contract with an option of another season.

The 31-year-old left Union Berlin at the end of last season following the expiration of his contract.

“With Anthony we’ve got an experienced striker who, with his complete fitness, will further enhance our squad on the offensive and especially on goal,”sporting director, Peter Vollmann told the club’s official website.

“At the same time, our young attackers will benefit from his experience. Tony is an absolute team player.”

Ujah is extremely delighted with his move to the Lions.

I am very happy to be part of Eintracht . I know the 2nd Bundesliga and will try to help the team with my experience,”Ujah stated.

“I was rooting for the cup game at the airport in Nigeria on Sunday and I was really happy for the team. At the end of the day we want to celebrate relegation together, and I will invest everything in that.”

Ujah scored 30 goals in 136 appearances in the Bundesliga.
