Former Super Eagles midfielder dynamo and 1980 AFCON youngest player, Henry Nwosu (MON) has thumbed up the players and the technical crew of the national football team for their efforts so far in the AFCON qualifiers.
In a telephone interview with Daily sports from his Naze, Owerri home, he remarks that the Super Eagles would gradually find her feet in the continent's football after woeful outings in last AFCON and World Cup playoff against the Black Stars of Ghana.
He advised the players remain focused in order to achieve the goal of blazing a trail in their football career, the African continent as well as the World.
The former Super Eagles star urges the crew of the national team to intensify their hard work and also work in unity so that they can achieve success.
He called on the team’s foreign technical hand, Jose Peresie, the Super Eagles assistant coaches to support this notion of working as a team as that is the engine room of achieving success in the game of football,
Nwosu insists that Peresie must ensure h\e would evolve superior technical input on the team for optimum output in matches henceforth as commitment remains key to good results in games, he stressed.
He said that there is no short cut ensuring that he impacts football knowledge And techniques into the team techniques that will up the game of the national team.
Nwosu believes that eventually, the win would enable and instill more confidence them as they progress rapidly and steadily in their aim to be on top.
It would be recalled that Nwosu is among the team that first won the Africa Cup of Nations Cup for Nigeria.
