NFF President, Amaju Melvin Pinnick has revealed details of his visit to the Super Eagles players in London, while the Sports Minister, Sunday Dare, spoke to the players through zoom

In a tweet on Tuesday evening, Amaju Pinnick said his visit was in furtherance to his earlier tweets about the plans of the federation to ensure that the team qualify for the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup. Sunday Dare spoke to the players through zoom

Amaju Pinnick said he held "clear the air" talks with the team secretary, technical adviser and assistant coach

He said he is proud of the commitment from Etebo, Iheanacho, Troost Ekong, and Ademola Lookman. The FIFA Council member said that the central message of the visit was clear: that Nigeria must play at the world cup and that Nigeria is going to the world cup to compete and not make up the numbers
