Fans Hail Musa Kida Re- Election As NBBF President

Basketball fans, pundits’ analysts across the country have thumbed up the election of Musa Kida as the President of the Nigeria Basketball Federation (NBBF) in election held in Benin Edo State yesterday.
The election according to our man Ogie Osagie in Benin City Edo State reports that the poll which was not only peaceful amid tight security added that FIBA sent her representatives that observed proceedings which went on smoothly without any rancor.
A telephone conversation with some ardent Basketball fans across the country was in affirmative, Allwell John from Rivers State where the Basketball sponsor stays hailed the election that produced Musa who he said gave the game great future and upbeat.
He gave kudos to Musa for his steadfastness on the growth and development of the game in the country and also opened the gate that encouraged Nigerian born in the Diaspora to embrace the national team male and female which imparted gracefully both in African scene and greatly being felt across the globe Nigeria’s growing Basketball prowess.
In Lagos Adekunle Olujimi who described himself as an ardent follower of Nigeria Basketball from the club level even before the turn around of the national teams by the keen interest of Musa Kida and his men which vehemently  encouraged the foreign players and even gave the local players glimmer of hope playing the game.
He urged the board to live up to the expectations of the majority of Basketball fans and stakeholders who reposed confident his ability deliver successfully without the usual self fishiness that have been the lot of the game amongst the past and present sports administrators’.
The story was not different from Akure when Toyin Oluwatosin applauded the election of Musa Kadi as the NBBF boss. His return would continue to stead the body. He emphatically declared that with the peaceful atmosphere that followed his election this time his programmers’ for the growth of the game, players and official of the sport would be unprecedented this term and urge all and sundry to support him well for the good of the game.
From Owerri the story was the same as Musa Ahmed kida continued to lead the sport. OgennaChukwu Iweji said it is good news for Basketball in Nigeria. Nigerians are glad the crisis has come to an end. There must be eternal mechanism that would lift the game forward.
His second journey on the same seat would mark a watershed to the game. Kida has done well especially the welfare of the players who look up.
        In Ahmed Mohammed thumbs up the election in Benin that had FIBA representatives as observers. For us here we believe this the platform that would move the sport forward and place Nigeria in good steady to go on compete decisively in future international meets. I wish him and his team well for the good of the game.   
It was great feelings in other parts of the country from our Reporters who called to reports. It showed the overwhelming confident on Musa Ahmed Kida and his said great works in NBBF and its activities. They appealed to other stakeholders to join hands with in his spirited bid to move the game to greater heights in days and years to come.
