Nigeria midfielder Raheem Lawal gave out football equipment to indigent youth of Mushin, Lagos on Sunday as his foundation held a football gathering.
The Super Eagles man also scored a hat-trick against a selected side in a charity football match put together at the event on Sunday at the Bishop Agee football pitch.
The Turkey-based midfielder was joined by top Nigerian foreign-based players like Kabiru Amoo, Sylvester Igboun, Dele Adeleye and Dele Alampasu in the game.
After the game, Lawal and his friends donated football boots, jerseys and cash prizes to the Mushin selected side to officially launch his charity foundation aimed at helping the less privileged in the society.
Lawal who plays in the Turkish league for Osmanlispor was recently recalled by coach Salisu Yusuf for the Mali and Luxembourg friendly matches in May.
