President of Super Eagles Supporters Club (SESC), Prince Vincent Okumagba has called on the Austin Eguaveon led technical bench to be cautious in the game against Tunisia so as to properly harness the situation and pick the quarter-final ticket. Okumagba who spoke to Daily Sports from Cameroon insists that the present crop of Eagles players have who it takes to clinch the quarter-final ticket of the ongoing AFCON in Cameroon if the boys are strictly instructed to play cautiously into the game and know when to go on the offensive against equally with good measure of pedigree despite their not too impressive showing at the group stage of the ongoing football festival here in Cameroon. “Truth is that Eagles have the players courageous enough to do the damage if they would guide their thoughts and play as team in order to shoot down this common enemy, Carthage Eagles of Tunisia. The ball is on their court once Eguaveon and his crew pick our first eleven to squarely face these Tunisia boys then the problem would be half solved”, Okumagba observes He believes that if the team could play as it did in her first game against Egypt, the Tunisian team in this toruenament would not do much against the Nigerian team that has been getting stronger in each of the matches so far played. “It won’t be an easy game as both teams would be guiding her prestige over the years and also cautiously take each other especially during the opening seconds into minutes. The Eagles must go into the game determined and foremost put behind them their clean record in the group stage and enter the field on with new vision knowing the kind of opponent on ground,” he maintained. The SESC boss however said that with all cautious rules observed and the boys play to instruction fully on ground to do the battle of their lives gamely the day we will be ours at the end. He also commended the Amaju Pinnick led team in NFF for being so passionate on the welfare and being of the team and officials ensuring that there is clam in the camp adding that with such concentration level, then the next is for the team to go all out and stop this obstacle call Tunisia on their way for greater glory. Every Nigeria here is behind the team and with that one spirit, one accord then Tunisia won’t find it easy with the Nigerians today.
