Atletico Madrid striker Luis Suarez has taken aim at Barcelona coach Ronald Koeman ahead of their weekend reunion. Suarez was pushed out of Barca a year ago, ahead of him joining Atletico and helping them win the LaLiga title last season. Suarez said, “It’s a mix. I said it last season. About the coach, I think that if he has so much personality, if he has such authority, he showed me something different. If one day I show up and he tells me that he doesn’t count on me and that I have to go for these reasons, okay ... but don't tell me that I’m not in his plans and when I’m closing the signing for Atlético, now rescinding, he tells me that if it is not closed tomorrow, on Sunday he would take me into account for the game against Villarreal ... how? If I don’t fit into your plans...” Suarez continued: “He would send me to train to the 3-4 field as if I were 15 years old. It hurt me, it bothered me, I came home crying from contempt. I did not disrespect him at any time, I trained, without a bad face despite everything because I am a professional. I was looking for the best solution. I say it was a mixture because the president (Josep Maria Bartomeu) was reporting, filtering that Suárez was bad for the locker room, that this, that the other ... I saw everything in the week before returning to training and then Koeman called me. It hurt me.” (Tribal Football) •PHOTO: Luis Suarez
