Napoli said on Tuesday they will appeal Victor Osimhen’s two-match suspension after the Nigeria forward was sent off in the weekend’s win over Venezia.
Osimhen was shown a red card after 22 minutes on Saturday for slapping opposing midfielder Daan Heymans in their opening game of the Serie A season.
The 22-year-old will miss Saturday’s trip to Genoa and home game against Juventus on September 12 if the appeal fails. (AFP)
