Chukwueze On Everton’s Transfer Shortlist

By Daily sports on July 23, 2021

Everton are reportedly very interested in Samuel Chukwueze.

According to the Athletic, the Nigeria international features on the Premier League club’s transfer wishlist as a possible replacement for James Rodriguez at Goodison Park.

New Toffees boss Rafael Benitez is said to be an admirer of the Villarreal winger who helped the Spanish club to Europa League glory last season.

The 22-year-old, who is valued at around £17 million reportedly has a release clause of £71 million in his contract that will expire in 2023.

In total, the Super Eagles attacker has scored 17 goals and assisted the same amount in 119 appearances for the LaLiga club.

Chukwueze isn’t the only footballer from the African continent linked with a move to Everton this week with Senegal defender Kalidou Koulibaly also said to be on the club’s transfer shortlist. (African Football)
