New Roma coach Jose Mourinho is open to seeing Chris Smalling sold this summer.
The former Manchester United defender had an injury plagued campaign with Roma last season.
Sky Italia says Mourinho is willing to see Smalling sold and intermediaries are already testing the ground in England.
Everton are in contact with Roma about Smalling’s availability.
Mourinho has given his green light for the sale as he seeks to replace the England international with his own centre-half addition. (Tribal Football)
