Sports: Sunday Dare’s Crude Administration And Our Direction Towards Retrogression

By Daily sports on May 10, 2021

Sports has long been serving as the only vehicle that have been there to relieve the wary citizenry making or bringing life and hope back to the majority and one is saddened thus far judging from the fast death nail trailing the sector lately.

The sad trends that have caught the country nabbing of late called for cry. Sports men, women, officials and sundry are not left out and they are all at risk as insecurity has enveloped the entire landscape of Nigeria with the sitting government not providing answer (s) to it rather every harmless suggestion on the way forward, the hawks in government are always handy to defend the failed government.

Truth is that sports cannot never thrive in this kind of atmosphere  as lies thrives most in the present circumstances and nothing concrete can be got from this dispensation. For instance, Nigeria is on paper preparing for the forthcoming Tokyo Olympics Games and at the end of the day, fund set aside for the games would be as usual pocketed.

You are aware dear readers that Sunday Dare deliberately dissolved the board of all Federations and appointed care taker committee for all the federations. This illegal action by Dare has compound the whole worsen situation currently at hand.

Even IOC never recognise this kind of arrangement Sunday put up and keen watcher of Nigerian fast fading sports administration at the national sports federations level would continue to leave sour taste in the mouth. Nothing is being said or pointed out on this illegality.

As this columnist has asked previously on this page who’s advising Sunday Dare?

He has been taking wrong and bitter pills like decision that have had adverse effects on sports generally.

I don’t know about you, I have closely observed long ago the steady decline of our prowess in even sports the country has comparative advantage, what this lame duck government has cost the country is better imagined than described.

However, football being the king of other sports is not faring better either. Truth is that more worst will be recorded and we pray that this trend of killing sports will spare the citizenry who are as usual bent of snuffing life out of sports.

It will be suicidal if those in charge did not brace up and restore the good old days that would bring back smiles on the faces of fans. It is that bad and we are looking helplessly and others are clapping in other to get or be recognised and given what the stomach can eat.

That is the way we are presently. The nation is gradually being drowned by the likes of Sunday Dare, nothing would be done about it.

While this page would continue to voice out these anomalies’ being melt out to true participants where and when necessary. Sunday Dare has like his party, APC ruined the country.

While to Sunday Dare and his cohorts are busy beaten their shallow way of thinking on how to ensure that sports grow. As we continue to rely on, this government that is a failed enterprise. Let us hope for the best that this bad news in charge of sports will get a new narratives.

As Enyimba International FC team prepares for the explosive show down in the quarter finals against Egypt’s dreaded side, Pyramids we are open 24/7. Keep shooting hard till next week as the struggle continues!!
