Enyimba forward, Onyekachi Peter has said his goal will be decisive in Wednesday’s rescheduled top flight clash at former champions, Kano Pillars.
The People’s Elephant are guests of the Pyramid City side in midweek make-up NPFL matchday 7 clash at the Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano.
Peter said though the encounter is predictably going to be tough but his side are certain to leave the Sani Abacha turf unscathed.
“The clash at Kano Pillars is predictably going to be tough but I believe the Sani Abacha pitch is a place we can pick at least a point in worst case scenario.
“Though we have not performed creditably well as many of our supporters would expect today (Wednesday) is the day we will come all out as champions to showcase our stuff.
“We have been playing away from home every home matches and the effect has been negative in terms of result.
“Usually, whenever we play on good turf we normally produce good result as was the case when we confronted Akwa United in Uyo.
“Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano has good pitch so be rest assured that we will not leave the ground empty-handed.
“And I can bet on it that my goal will make a huge difference in the encounter that many people have already written us off as losers,” said the former Abia Warriors marksman to supersport.com.
Enyimba are 18th on the 20-team top flight on 14 points from 10 matches with three games to spare against Warri Wolves, Wikki Tourists and sister side, Abia Warriors. (superspots.com)
