Lucas Torreira would be prepared to return to Arsenal next season.
The Uruguayan was sent out on loan to Atletico Madrid in the summer having struggled for minutes.
Torreira is willing to make a north London return, but only on the basis that he would be given chances to play, reports the Athletic.
The 25-year-old, who was signed in 2018, is not prepared to play a peripheral role once more.
He rarely featured following Arteta's arrival in December 2019 which led to his loan move away. (Tribal Football)
