Liverpool are rivaling Manchester United for Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho ahead of the summer market.
The Telegraph says after United's failed pursuit last summer, interest remains.
But United will only try and do a deal for Sancho for significantly less than the €120m Dortmund were demanding back in the summer.
The German giants could have to sell their prized asset in the cheap if they fail to qualify for the Champions League.
However, the publication suggests Liverpool could join the race for Sancho.
Mohamed Salah continues to be linked with a move to either Real Madrid or Barcelona amid the struggles of Jurgen Klopp’s side this season.
