Real Madrid Inform Sergio Ramos Contract Offer Has Deadline

By Daily sports on March 7, 2021

Real Madrid have informed Sergio Ramos their contract offer will be withdrawn at the end of the month.

The relationship between Ramos and club president Florentino Perez is a healthy one, and the deal which looked almost impossible in January now looks more likely to happen than ever.

Real Madrid offered their captain a one-year extension with the option of a second, but they will need to know sooner rather than later if he is going to stay at the club so that they can plan their summer transfer window accordingly.

Ramos and Florentino have met twice in recent weeks, but on neither occasion have come to a final agreement.

The Camas-born defender wants to clear up the uncertainty over his future as soon as possible and the next week could be a decisive one, reports Marca. (Tribal Football)
