Borussia Dortmund have further cut their price for Jadon Sancho as they seek to sell the England midfielder this summer.
The Sunday World says Manchester United had agreed terms with the player and his adviser over a move, but Dortmund’s refusal to sell for less than €120million meant Sancho remained in Germany for another season.
Now there are reports in Germany that Dortmund may be prepared to accept a €90million offer for Sancho, as they may be in a position where there need to sell the player this summer.
While he has not been on top form throughout this Bundesliga campaign, he has been in good form of late and speculation is mounting that Dortmund are ready to sell their star man.
Dortmund have struggled to shine in the Bundesliga this season, despite boasting a stunning array of youthful talent that also includes in-demand striker Erling Haaland, who has been linked with moves to Liverpool and Real Madrid in recent months.
Now Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke has admitted players will have to be sold if his club fail to qualify for next season’s Champions League, with a recent slump in form putting their hopes of a top four finish in the Bundesliga in jeopardy. (Tribal Football)
