Bundesliga: Dortmund Hold Hoffenheim

By Daily sports on February 14, 2021

Goals from Jadon Sancho and Erling Braut Haaland were not enough for victory as Borussia Dortmund drew with Hoffenheim.

England’s Sancho ran on to a through ball to give them the lead before Munas Dabbur’s first-time finish to level.

Ihlas Bebou put Hoffenheim ahead with a header after a poor goalkeeping punch.

Haaland, who had two goals disallowed for offside, latched on to a poor defensive pass before racing away and firing home an equaliser.

Dortmund, who sit sixth in the Bundesliga table, have only won one of their past six league games.

Elsewhere, Hertha Berlin’s Luca Netz became the youngest defender to ever score a Bundesliga goal, and the club's youngest Bundesliga scorer, at the age of 17 years and 274 days. That was the 82nd-minute equaliser in a 1-1 draw at Stuttgart.

Mainz scored twice in the final two minutes to boost their survival hopes with a 2-2 draw at fourth-placed Bayer Leverkusen. (BBC)
