I can't explain terrible 3SC display - Fabiyi

By Daily Sports on April 27, 2016

Emmanuel Fabiyi is still at a loss to explain Shooting Stars’ capitulation against Kano Pillars.

The Oluyole Warriors 6-0 Nigeria topflight mauling at the hands of Mohammed Baba Ganaru’s team sent shakes around the football world.

“It is difficult to explain,” Fabiyi said.

“Anyone who has not seen the match will think that Pillars had been well ahead of Shooting Stars. But we did not manage the shots on goal and so it was difficult to win.

“The outcome after a 6-0 result is difficult to digest. The first half was competitive for us. We didn't play well in the second half.

“Normally we do not lack the strength in the second half. We must also congratulate Kano Pillars. We will bounce back in subsequent league matches.

“Pillars' victory is deserved. We lacked aggressiveness.”
