AS Monaco are preparing a contract offer for Real Madrid veteran Marcelo.
Monaco are willing to offer Marcelo, 32, a three-year deal to leave Madrid at the end of this season.
While he is contracted to Real until 2022, there is a confidence Marcelo will be granted a free transfer if he can find himself a new club.
Monaco’s offer is worth €6m-a-year – net – and would put him on par with the club's highest earner, Wissam Ben Yedder.
However, it would still be a major sacrifice for the veteran, with Marcelo’s Real contract worth €9m-a-year. (Tribal Football)
