Ndidi ought to feature for Leicester City when they play high-flying Southampton on Saturday night.

The Foxes sit fourth in the table and have a chance of moving second in the standings if results go their way.

However, their underwhelming form at the King Power Stadium means beating a Saints side without an away defeat since the opening day loss at Crystal Palace will be far from easy.

Fulham’s run of solid performances continued in midweek when they played out a 1-1 draw against Tottenham Hotspur in North London.

Ademola Lookman came off the bench to assist Ivan Cavaleiro’s equalizer while Ola Aina featured on the right of a back three as the Cottagers picked up their fifth stalemate on the spin.

While three points continue to elude Scott Parker’s men, their showings indicate an upturn in form and there’s reason to believe they could secure their first Premier League victory since November when they host a struggling Chelsea side.

Pep Guardiola’s team have won four on the spin and will relish making it five successes on the trot but will be wary of an Eagles side that have the tools to disrupt their flow.

Crotone and Benevento regained promotion to Serie A last summer but both sides have gone in different directions since returning to the top flight.

Simy’s struggles have epitomised the Pythagoreans’ troubles in 2020/21, with the towering forward unable to pull up trees in the division despite netting 20 goals in Serie B last season.

Both sides face off at Stadio Ezio Scida on Sunday, with the Nigeria striker seeking his first goal of any kind in five games and first from open play since late October.

Benevento have adapted to life in the league far more comfortably than the side they visit this weekend and will back themselves to pick up their third away success on the trot.

Despite a somewhat underwhelming performance in Trabzonspor’s 1-0 win over Goztepe last time out, Nwakaeme was inches away from scoring only to be denied by the post.

The Black Sea Storm have won four of their last five games in the Super Lig, which has seen them climb the table to seventh since Eddie Newton departed.

They face an Antalyaspor side two places below in ninth, looking to edge closer to the league’s top four to continue their pleasing ascent after a troubled start to the season.

Nwakaeme’s paucity of goal contributions (one in his last seven appearances and five in 15 games) remains a concern, but the burly forward will hope to contribute against a side that has secured nine points from an available 12 at home in recent games. (Goal)
