Juventus have failed with a surprise bid for Lyon striker Memphis Depay.
Depay, off contract in June, is expected to join his former Holland coach Ronald Koeman at Barcelona – potentially in January.
However, they now face competition from Juve, reports Tuttosport.
Juve made a straight swap offer involving Federico Bernardeschi to Lyon for Depay, but it was rejected by president Jean-Michel Aulas.
Juve are expected to try again, though it won’t involve Bernardeshi, who is reluctant to leave Turin. (Tribal Football)
