Arsenal’s board are standing by manager Mikel Arteta.
Pressure continues to mount on the Spaniard following the Gunners 1-0 defeat to Burnley on Sunday night.
However, Arteta is still said to have the support of Stan Kroenke and the club’s board.
Football.London says there is no imminent desire to sack Arteta from Kroenke, and that the Spaniard maintains the support of those at the club despite recent results.
How long that goodwill lasts remains to be seen, but for now Arteta will keep planning ahead of the visit of Southampton on Wednesday, when a fifth straight home league defeat will surely be unthinkable. (Tribal Football)
