Fabregas Opens Up On Chelsea Exit, Sarri

By Daily sports on December 8, 2020

AS Monaco midfielder Cesc Fabregas has spoken of working with Maurizio Sarri at Chelsea.

Sarri is currently out of work after being sacked by Juventus, despite winning the Scudetto last season.

Cesc told Tuttosport: “Sarri bet everything on Jorginho and it was not enough for me to appear from time to time. So I left.

“He is a person with heart, but he has very strong convictions at a tactical level. He is superstitious and very difficult to change. I once asked him to change the training from three in the afternoon to the morning, because it was impossible for those with children like me to see them.

“He told us that we had to train at that time because a scholar from Pisa had scientifically proven that it was the best time to train the body...” (Tribal Football)
