Gabriel Martinelli is on the brink of returning to training at Arsenal.
The Sun says Martinelli could return to full training within a fortnight – and the return that could solve Arsenal’s strike problems.
Skipper Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has netted just two of the Gunners’ meagre nine goals in nine Premier League games this season.
But Arsenal say fellow striker Martinelli, 19, is progressing “very well” from a knee injury picked up in June and hopes to be training within two weeks.
Aubameyang’s slow start, at least in terms of goals, has been the biggest let-down up front – since signing a club-record pay deal in the summer. (Tribal Football)
