Cavani, Maguire Missing From Man Utd Squad For Paris Flight

By Daily sports on October 20, 2020

Edinson Cavani and Harry Maguire were missing from Manchester United’s squad for their flight out of Manchester Airport today for Paris.

The Daily Express says Cavani was not among the United team to fly out to Paris on Monday afternoon for their Champions League group stage clash with Paris Saint-Germain. It is unclear whether or not he has travelled to the French capital alone but he was not with the rest of his team-mates at Manchester Airport. United captain Harry Maguire was also absent from the travelling contingent.

Uruguayan striker Cavani was signed on transfer deadline day earlier this month but has yet to make his debut after a mandatory two-week quarantine following his arrival in the UK.

He trained with his new team-mates for the first time on Sunday ahead of Tuesday’s clash with PSG, United’s first group stage game of the season.

The trip to Paris would have seen Cavani take on his former club, with the 33-year-old PSG's all-time record goalscorer with 200 strikes. (Tribal Football)
