Liverpool have made a surprise move for Barcelona for Ousmane Dembele.
Sport says the Reds have opened talks with Barca about Dembele’s availability after being left unimpressed by Watford's £36m asking price for Ismaila Sarr.
Instead, Liverpool are turning to Dembele, who they have asked Barca about a straight loan. The door has also been opened to including a permanent option.
Barca could be prepared to release Dembele after the arrivals of Francisco Trincao and Pedri.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has made no secret of his admiration for Dembele, who he has been following since the attacker was coming through at Rennes. (Tribal Football)
