Inter Step Up Partey Pursuit

By Daily sports on September 15, 2020

Inter Milan have reportedly stepped up their pursuit of Thomas Partey

According to AS, the Serie A side are ready to offer Ivan Perisic as part of the deal following the Croatia international’s return to the San Siro.

Perisic spent last season on-loan at Bayern Munich and played a pivotal part in a treble-winning campaign which culminated in UEFA Champions League glory for the German giants.

Antonio Conte is now hoping to use the winger as makeweight in a deal that could significantly reduce Atletico Madrid’s €50 million asking price for Partey.

The Ghanian midfielder has been heavily linked with a move to Arsenal in recent months, but the Gunners have seemingly thrown in the towel after failing to meet Atleti’s evaluation of the 27-year-old.

Juvents and Paris Saint-Germain are also said to be interested in signing the midfielder who has reportedly turned down a new contract in the Spanish capital.

Partey has scored 16 goals in 185 appearances for Atletico Madrid. (African Football)
