No Permanent Hammers stay for Emenike, Moses

By Daily Sports on April 5, 2016

West Ham will not keep Emmanuel Emenike and Victor Moses on permanent deals at the end of the season.

According to Sky Sports, the Hammers do have the option of making the loan deals with the Nigerian pair permanent but "have decided not to do so."

It appears that the lack of first-team places by the two players is one of the major reasons that the London club do not want to keep Emenike and Moses beyond the summer.

Emenike is yet to score in the Barclays Premier League for West Ham in seven appearances but has scored twice in two FA Cup matches though both goals were in the 5-1 win over Blackburn Rovers.

Moses has struggled to stay in the first-team since suffering a hamstring injury in the 0-0 draw against Manchester United in December which led to him missing six straight weeks.

However, since that injury, Moses is yet to make a start in the Hammers' shirt having enjoyed 11 starts including scoring in the 2-1 win at Manchester City on September 19, 2015.

The goal at Manchester City is the only time Moses has found the back of the net for the Hammers, and has also contributed two assists.

Emenike and Moses will now have to return to their parent clubs, Chelsea and Fenerbahce respectively at the end of the season. (supersports.com)
