Expect a suprise: Echugbulam tells MFM FC

By Daily Sports on April 3, 2016

Enugu Rangers midfielder, Chisom  Echugbulam has promised MFM FC supporters a surprise when the sides meet at the Agege Stadium on April 6.

Echugbulam, who has scored five goals and made two assist this term, maintained that Rangers will visit Lagos for business.

"Lagos fans should expect a special surprise when Enugu Rangers visit Agege stadium on Wednesday," Echugbulam said.

"They (MFM FC) are debutant in the NPFL, we have not played them before and I know that the only thing at stake for us in the match is for us to maintain our lead at the top of the log."

Though MFM keeps the ball very well, Echugbulam believes Enugu Rangers are better at possession football.

"Yes they can hold on to the ball but we can as well do it better and I'm optimistic that we can hold the ball much better than they do.  Keeping possession is one thing but scoring goals which we are good at is the main difference," he added.

With a renewed support at the Agege Stadium for MFM since their rise to the NPFL, the fans will fill the stands but Echugbulam doesn't feel threatened.

"No I don't think the fans can change or affect the way we play.  We are going to Lagos basically for business not look at the massive turnout of fans or listen to their nice," Echugbulam concluded.  (goal.com)
