Arsenal Offer Aubameyang £300,000 A Week

By Daily sports on August 5, 2020

Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is due a bumper end of season bonus.

The Times says Aubameyang will earn a one-off bonus payment of £300,000 after his prolific season in front of goal.

The Gunners captain netted 29 goals in all competitions this season, including 22 in the Premier League, three in the Europa League and four in the FA Cup.

Aubameyang has a clause in his current contract which means he will receive a bonus payout of £300,000 if he scores or assists at least 25 goals and he has met that target.

The report also claims that the club have offered him a new deal worth more than £300,000-a-week including add-ons.

Aubameyang currently earns £200,000-a-week but, with his deal due to expire next year and the fact that he has been involved in a whopping 44% of Arsenal’s league goals this season, the Gunners are making a concerted effort to keep him at the club. (The Times)
