Clubs Set To Fight For Zaha’s Signature

By Daily Sports on July 22, 2020

Crystal Palace are set to have another difficult transfer window in fighting off interest for star winger Wilfried Zaha.

According to the Daily Mail, several clubs are interested in signing the Ivory Coast international.

Zaha is reportedly expected to receive offers from Atletico Madrid, Everton, Bayern Munich and Newcastle United over the next few weeks.

The 27-year-old came very close to joining Arsenal last year with former Gunners boss Unai Emery having revealed that he was eager to sign the winger, before the North London club decided on signing Nicolas Pepe from Lille instead.

Palace are said to have demanded around £80 million for Zaha 12 months ago, but it remains to be seen what impact the coronavirus (COVID-19) will have on the club and if they’d be willing to sell their star asset at all.

Zaha, who is contracted to Palace until 2023, has 127 goal contributions in 360 matches for the Eagles. (Daily Mail)
