Suarez Warns Barcelona: Messi Wants A Winning Project

By Daily Sports on July 16, 2020

Luis Suarez is confident Lionel Messi will stay with Barcelona.

The Barca captain has less than a year to run on his current deal and could commit to a pre-contract with a rival from January 1.

Suarez told Mundo Deportivo: “I don’t see him in any team other than that of Barca.

“The decision Leo makes will be made with the best interests of his family and himself in mind. It happens to all of us to be sad because we lose and let loose a Liga and there are times when you consider anything, but being his friend, I will always recommend him to be where he feels comfortable and happy.

“And if he is happy in Barcelona, let him continue with Barcelona. If he needs a change, he will know what he needs for himself and for his well-being. I think the family is very happy in Barcelona.

“What he would like more is a winning project, a project that excites him, but these are situations that he must manage with his family, and with his father in this case.” (Tribal Football)
